Commonwealth Packaging Corporation is a local, woman-owned packaging company looking for an experienced sales representative to grow our Albany-area territory. We’re looking for someone who would rather meet a prospective customer in person than wait for the phone to ring.
This is a hands-on outside sales role. You’ll make cold calls, learn how businesses use their packaging, and work with our team to turn a good conversation into a solution customers can count on. No two customers are quite alike, which is part of what makes this industry fun.
What you’ll do
Get out into the Albany-area territory and develop new business through in-person prospecting and cold calls.
Build a strong pipeline and turn new introductions into long-term customer relationships.
Work with our design and operations teams to develop corrugated packaging solutions.
Prepare proposals, discuss pricing, and close new business.
Stay connected with your customers and help us deliver the service that keeps them coming back.
You’ll be a great fit if you
Have experience in both outside sales and corrugated packaging.
Enjoy prospecting and have a record of winning new business.
Are motivated, disciplined, organized, and comfortable managing your own territory.
Communicate well and follow through on what you promise.
Have a valid driver’s license and can travel throughout the territory.
What CPC offers
Base salary of $65,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience, plus commission
